Is it over already?

Just something fun doodled while watching Survivor with the family.

I've completed my last courses at the Academy of Art University and successfully applied for graduation with a BFA in Traditional Illustration. It's somewhat surprising how fast it all went by.

I'm now on the job market for illustration jobs. Anything from advertising to book illustration (general book, children's, textbook), greeting card illustration, spot illustration (such as editorials), board game illustration... With some skill in digital tools like Flash, Illustrator, and InDesign, I'm also quite interested in digital work - be it game artwork or digital graphics for a variety of applications.

Suppose I'll see which type of work I can snag first.

Hello, happy holidays.

It is my new year's resolution to draw (apart from professional/commissioned projects) for at least an hour every day. I was once in this habit, but days have gone by with nothing more then a doodle.

Today was my final day of on-campus classes at the Academy of Art university. These are twenty minute drawings from Clothed Figure 3 class instructed by Chuck Pyle.

Santa is a very cute character, it's fun to draw his face.

Bob made a wonderful Santa.

Sometimes time runs out too quickly.

I like to draw Santa, but I got tired of the red color.
